Have a Self-Care Bath Ritual?
What is your favorite way to relax and rejuvenate?
Some people might say reading a book, others might say taking a walk outdoors.
For me, it's definitely having a self-care bath ritual.
I love spending an hour or so washing my hair, exfoliating my skin, and using my favorite aromatherapy products. It's like a mini-vacation for my body!
If you're looking for some ideas on how to create your own self-care bath ritual, read on. I'll share some of my favorite tips with you.
Start by filling the bathtub with warm water.
It's been a while since you've had time to relax in your own home, so why not take advantage of this? Fill up that tub before starting another busy day - it'll be worth every second! Add some soothing aromatherapy products to the water, like lavender oil or chamomile tea.
One of my favorite products to use is Kneipp Lavender Bubble Bath. Add 1 capful to running water for a tub full of bubbles. The water is gently tinted shades of blue to create peace, and serenity and quiets the mind for sleep. Smells amazing and it’s vegan created by Doctor, Sebastian Kneipp.
Then add a few drops of your favorite essential oil to the water
Adding a few drops of your favorite essential oil to the water can help to elevate your mood and create a more relaxing environment. One of my absolute favorites! you guessed it another great product from the doctor, Sebastian Kneipp.
Kneipp Lavender Herbal Bath Oil, Relaxing Soak. Did you know? Lavender is known for its balancing effects on the body and mind and balance is the key to a healthy body.
Another great way to relax in the bath is by using a face mask
There are so many different types of masks available these days, so it's easy to find one that fits your needs. If you're looking for a deep-cleansing mask, I recommend trying out a charcoal mask. It's really effective at removing impurities. My recommendation would be FaceTory Let's Talk, Detox Purifying Sheet Mask with Charcoal, and Volcanic Ash, Let's talk about it.
CHARCOAL MATERIAL sheet mask made from compressed charcoal powder to help purify the skin. This soft material is drenched in soothing essence and adheres to the face perfectly.
Leave sheet mask on for 10-20 mins as you are relaxing in the bath so your skin is ultra nourished! These are some of the best self-care products to use when you want to unwind at the end of a long day. Don’t forget about a gentle exfoliator
one of my favorite things to do in my self-care bath ritual is to scrub my skin in a circular motion. This helps to remove any dead skin cells and leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth. I like to use a product that contains natural ingredients, such as sugar or salt because it's gentle on my skin.
If you're looking for an exfoliator that's affordable and easy to find, I recommend trying one of the following:
• Aveeno Daily Exfoliating Wash: This wash contains salicylic acid, which helps to clear away dead skin cells and unclog pores.
• Tree Hut Shea Sugar Scrub Tropical Mango: 100% PURE NATURAL SHEA BUTTER - A premium deep moisturizer that wonderfully softens and smooths dry cracked skin. After you've finished your bath be sure to rinse off any soap or shampoo residue.
Then, apply a moisturizing body lotion to your skin.
I love using natural products, like coconut oil or shea butter, to moisturize my skin. These products also have a delicious scent that helps me relax and unwind after my bath. Here is one sweet lotion absolutely one of my favorites.
Hempz Sweet Pineapple & Honey Melon Moisturizing Skin Lotion. Soothing hydration Pineapple and Honey Melon extracts condition, soften, and hydrate your skin: oil-rich Hemp Seed and Jojoba Seed combine with shea butter to enrich, heal, and even skin tone.
After your shower, wrap yourself in a soft towel and enjoy feeling relaxed and refreshed. Take a few deep breaths, and allow the calmness to wash over you. Congratulations - you've just completed your self-care bath ritual!
